IRE vs SA: Ireland’s historic feat, defeated South Africa for the first time in T20

IRE vs SA: The second T20 match was played between Ireland and South Africa in Abu Dhabi. In this match, Ireland surprised everyone by defeating South Africa by 10 runs. Batting first, Ireland scored 195 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. In response, the South African team could only score 185 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. Ross Adair was adjudged the Player of the Match for his excellent century. This is the first time in cricket history that Ireland has defeated South Africa in a T20.

Sterling scored 52 runs in 31 balls with the help of 7 fours and 1 six. On the other hand, Ross Adair hit a tremendous century. He played a brilliant innings of 100 runs in 58 balls with the help of 5 fours and 9 sixes. Although the middle order batsmen could not do much, despite this the Irish team managed to reach 195 runs.

South Africa also had a good start while chasing the target. The opening pair of Ryan Rickelton and Reeza Hendricks shared a 50-run partnership in 5.3 overs for the first wicket. During this, Rickelton scored 36 runs in 22 balls with the help of 1 four and 4 sixes. While Reeza Hendricks played an innings of 51 runs in 32 balls with the help of 6 fours and 1 six. Matthew Breetzke also scored 51 runs. However, apart from the top-3, the other batsmen could not even reach double figures. Due to this, the team had to face defeat. Mark Adair took 4 wickets for Ireland. Apart from this, Graham Hume also took 3 wickets.
